Teotihuacan
Teotihuacan is located in the Basin of Mexico and is home to one of the most extraordinary structures built. This civilization built these massive pyramids for ceremonies, including human sacrifice. It once was a city of a very popular civilization. Teotihuacan was part of the Aztecs and the name Teotihuacan means "City of the Gods." In 750 A.D, Teotihuacan burned to the ground in a result to a civil war. Though, Teotihuacan strived with trade among other little civilizations. In the city, items such as jewelry and obsidian was traded. The population of Teotihuacan was smaller than other cities in the Mediterranean. The population was about 125,000 to 200,000 people.
